Site Description
Historic Northampton was incorporated in 1905 as a private, non-profit institution. Its mission is to collect and preserve Northampton’s past and to engage the community in the exploration of the city’s natural, material, and social history. Historic Northampton’s facilities include four historic buildings on one two-acre property: the Damon House (1813); the Parsons House (1719); the Shepherd House (1796) which is a rental property; and Shepherd barn (c. 1805).
