Appraisal and description of Elie Wiesel A/V material

We are in the middle of a 2-year process of processing and digitizing the papers of Elie Wiesel. Estimated at 250 linear feet, our archivists have organized the collection into 8 series. One series includes audio and video material. Any A/V items found during processing thus far have been set aside. The Field Placement student will work through the A/V material, appraising, surveying, and weeding. By the end of the semester/field placement, the hope would be to produce a narrow digitization list with description from all the material.
