Former Massachusetts state senator and Somerville city councilor Denise Provost has donated 14 15x12x10 boxes of her papers to the Somerville Public Library. These include source materials for articles for the all-volunteer newspaper The Somerville Community News, papers from her work as a Somerville city councilor on issues such as the development of Assembly Square, and papers from her work as a state senator. A student with substantial cataloging experience will create an inventory and finding aid for these papers, as well as cataloging and properly housing the contents of at least 5 of the boxes.
