Historical Photos and Committee Docs.

The Library and Archives Student Extern: Under the direction of the NCAA Librarian:
•Learn how to organize, categorize, and archive historical and current NCAA committee meeting records.
•The student extern will organize, scan, inventory, upload, and create metadata for a collection of NCAA historical sports photographs documents into the library’s ILS.
Purpose/Justification:
The NCAA Library is tasked with archiving the NCAA's historical materials, many of which are now over a century old. Historical documents must be carefully scanned so they can be archived in the NCAA's library (ILS), Soutron, for NCAA staff and membership use. The student extern will assist with both digitizing, archiving, inventorying, and electronically tagging historical documents and photographs with the assistance and guidance of the NCAA librarian and staff.
