Bedford Fire Department Commercial Records Scanning Project

Bedford's Fire Department will be moving to a new station later this year. They have taken this opportunity to digitize some of their records. This project would specifically be focused on the commercial street files (arranged by address), which contain permits, correspondence, and other documents pertaining to keeping Bedford's commercial properties safe and compliant with fire preparedness protocols. There may be the occasional photograph as well as large format plans and other diverse materials.

The successful candidate will also be required to set up a digital filing system within a PC (Microsoft) environment, mostly by creating a filing hierarchy within the file manager framework.
