Project Details
The student will complete two finding aids during their time with the Historical Medical Library of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia. The first finding aid will be completed with the goal of familiarizing the student with ArchivesSpace (ASpace). The Library has several collections which are fully processed, but lack complete ASpace finding aids. The student will use the legacy printed finding aid as a guide to enter container-level information into ASpace.
The second finding aid that the student completes will be with the goal of fully processing a collection. The Library holds several small unprocessed collections containing a variety of materials (see list below) which will provide the student with experience creating multiple series.

Waldo E. Nelson papers (6 linear feet)
J. Harold Austin papers (0.8 linear feet)
Lawrence Charles Parish papers (2.9 linear feet)
Arthur Vincent Meigs papers (1.25 linear feet)
