Garden Club Federation of MA Papers (continued)

The Arnold Arboretum Archives is the repository for the papers of the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts. We recently received a major deposit of materials which were inventoried by an LIS438 intern in the Fall 2025 semester. For this portion of the project, the student will, in consultation with the head of the archives, begin to process the inventoried materials into the existing collection. The previous intern discovered that the existing collection might need some reordering in their boxes before any new materials can be incorporated. This semester's intern will need to examine those materials to determine any changes that might need to me made before proceeding. They will then begin the incorporation process while updating the finding aid as they proceed. There is a very large quantity of material, so we do not expect the student to completely incorporate all the papers into the existing collection during their internship.
