Site Description
The RISD Archives is located on the 2nd floor of Fleet Library along with RISD Special Collections. RISD Archives collection storage, reading room, and workroom spaces are all located onsite at the Fleet Library. The RISD Archives collects, preserves, and provides access to records and materials which document the history and development of RISD programs, policies, and procedures as well as the contributions of individuals and organizations associated with the School and Museum. Records date from RISD’s founding in 1877 to the present.
