Project Details
Wanderground was incorporated in 2022, though preparation began a few years earlier.
Since then, we have attempted to keep all the documents, papers, forms, publicity, meeting notes, and other materials related to our work. However, the organization and management of these materials has gotten somewhat ignored over the past year.

This project involves:
• Organizing and filing the hard copies of herstorical records of Wanderground
o Also reviewing the digital files to be sure all are printed (*see below)
o Preparing re-organized digital files for back-up
• Developing a system to file blank and completed forms (especially, completed Deeds of Gift, Oral Herstory permissions, etc.)
• Creating an index or Finding Aid
• Using these preliminary Wanderground records to prepare a short early herstory of the creation and development of Wanderground
o Interviewing Instigator to help fill in gaps if necessary
*Generally, all records are kept electronically on our primary computer. These records will be provided so student can be sure all documents have a printed hard copy. The digital files can then be organized as needed to be prepared for archival back-up.

Products:
• Organized files
• Digital back-up of reorganized electronic files
• Short herstory of development of Wanderground posted to website (or blog)

We anticipate this project could be completed in one semester.

If project is complete, we have two additional possibilities for learning:
• Assist with creating permanent labels for boxed archival boxes
OR
• Organize and Prepare Finding aids for smaller accessions
