The Boston College Catholic Religious Archives is a new archive established to maintain the records of Catholic religious congregations. It is currently closed to the public, but our team is working to process collections, set policies and workflows, and develop other aspects in preparation for opening in the summer of 2026.
We are currently offering two processing internships and have identified several small collections that can be completed within a 60-hour internship. In addition to arranging and describing the materials in a collection, all interns will receive a preservation and handling tutorial and experience with ArchivesSpace.
The intern will benefit from working alongside the director and three experienced archivists.
