Centre Foundry Records Project

The library recently received several boxes of records and related memorabilia from the recently closed Centre Foundry Company, located in the Warwood neighborhood of Wheeling, WV. The records consist of a variety of archival materials, such as photographs, employee records, financial records, legal documents, etc. The intern will survey, sort, arrange, and describe the records according to accepted professional standards. As part of the complete processing process, the intern will create access tools for the collection, including a finding aid and a catalog record. If time allows, the intern will digitize select pieces from the collection according to professionally accepted standards and upload to Flickr, complete with full descriptions and tags
