Accessing Donations into the Collection

The student will process donations which have been accepted into our collection. Each item will be assigned an accession number, researched and entered into the database. Research should include basic and contextual information concerning the donation to aid the staff and researchers. All records will be as complete as possible. In the case of a collection, student will assign accession numbers, contextual information for our database, and scope and content notes for the research section of our website. This project will provide experience in basic archival principles, and improve basic research skills.
