Some series will be processed at the series level, others at the file level. The student will folder / refolder some content. Some content may be deaccessioned. The student will write a finding aid including front matter, series notes and box and folder lists for at least two series. The series includes papers, AV material, photographs and scrapbooks. The completed finding aid will be made available online via Archives West. All activities will be conducted under the direct supervision of the site supervisor. The department's Manuscript Curator will also be available to field questions.

Yes
Requirements
The student must provide their own laptop. The student will need to become familiar with the Archives and Special Collections processing manual and with biographical information about the collection creator. The student may be asked to complete 1-3 readings / articles related to archival arrangement and description selected by the site supervisor, but this will depend on how the timing of the field experience overlaps with the timing of their regular coursework and its required readings.
