Site Description
The Greenfield Community College archives is a small collection documenting the history of the college, as well as some limited local history materials. There is not a dedicated archives processing area. Instead, the intern who takes this position will have a work space that is shared with a Simmons library fellow. GCC has a campus of two buildings. The library is located in the larger, 4 story building, known as the Main Building, and is on the 3rd floor. An elevator from the front entrance leads to the library. There is also a small cafe on the first floor of the building, which is open for breakfast and lunch.
GCC has large parking lots, but there is a significant walk between the parking areas and the main building. There are handicapped spaces in front of the building, as well as Special Medical Permit spaces, which are first come, first serve. You must apply for a special medical permit with the campus safety department in order to park in those spaces.
