The Fall 2025 HMANE Student Archivist will assist in the organization of an archaeological archive. The HMANE houses the records of Theresa Goell, the archaeologist responsible for the excavation of several sites in Turkey. Previous museum efforts have provided minimal processing (preliminary sorting, boxing, and inventory) of this large and important archaeological record. The Fall 2025 archivist will work to refine one sub-section of the Goell Archive--Correspondence. Goell's correspondence will be reorganized by author/date and a folder-level Finding Aid created. A partial pre-existing inventory may be reworked to reflect the new additions.
