Project Details
Working with the University Archivist and Archival Processing Manager, the student will select a small collection to organize and describe from our collections. Through the course of the internship they will process this collection according to archival principles, while utilizing "Describing Archives: A Content Standard” and our local processing manual. Deliverables will include an inventory of a collection or series, as well as finding aid data such as a biographical/ historical note and a scope and content note. Depending on the collection selected, the student may also gain experience utilizing ArchivesSpace to create a portion of a finding aid for the collection or series.

Intern must file a data information sheet with the University. Intern will receive and ID card and may purchase a parking pass for $25.
