Rakow Research Library, founded as part of The Corning Museum of Glass in 1951, houses an unparalleled collection of materials documenting centuries of human interaction with glass. The Library collection ranges from medieval manuscripts to the latest publications on glassmaking techniques. More than 230 manuscript collections contain unique material from individual artists, galleries, companies, scholars, and organizations.
