Local History Room Intern

We are looking for a student to assist us with cataloging our Local History collection. The collection is home to a variety of items, ranging from yearbooks to genealogies of prominent local families to local maps. The majority of these items are not cataloged or recorded in any way. We are seeking a student to select a small portion of the collection to work with. We are looking to have this student assess and catalog items and identify preservation or rehousing needs. The position will work under the supervision of the Head of Reference. We’re looking for someone comfortable working both collaboratively and independently.
