This project is best suited for a student interested in preservation experience along with cataloging.
Wanderground possesses a large number of posters that are currently rolled up – as well as many others that currently hang in unstable frames or L sleeves.
This project involves:
• Assessing the condition of each poster
• Identifying what need to happens to preserve each poster
• Photographing and cataloging the posters
o Researching their significance
• Preparing each poster either for display or longer-term preservation
** This is a significant project that is not time sensitive. We do not expect it to be completed in the allotted time. Also, it could also be good for a team of two working together.
