This project is best suited for a student interested in Lesbian/women’s music festivals as well as the participation of craftswomen.
We have received 2 banker’s boxes of files from Kathy Lewis, a craftswoman and organizer for NEWMR. They include files and photographs.
• Process the files (somewhat already done).
• Create finding aid for the collection
• Preserve photos and label
• Add records and finding aids into the CatalogIt Database NEWMR Collection
** In the Wanderground system, we will guide the student to distinguish between “Accession” and “Collection.”
** Additionally – if processing of Lewis files goes quickly, we also have other items across the archive that can be identified and cataloged into the NEWMR Collection
