Garden Club Federation of MA Papers

The Arnold Arboretum Archives is the repository for the papers of the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts. We recently received a major deposit of materials which will need inventorying and eventual processing. For this project, the student will inventory the new materials and create an overall container list, compare the list with the existing finding aid, and determine where the new materials will need to be filed. The student will, in consultation with the head of the archives, determine how the materials (some of which are in 3 ring binders and notebooks) should be rehoused. If there is time, the student will rehouse the materials and revise the existing finding aid.
