Site Description
Peel Museum & Botanical garden is an AAM Accredited Historic House Museum with a botanical garden certification. The house was built in 1875 by Congressman Samuel West Peel and his wife Mary Emaline Berry Peel. The couple raised 9 children on the farm and were a contributor to the regions large apple crop and production, the largest in the country by the turn of the century in 1900.
