Processing the Martha Mahard papers

During the Fall 2025 semester, one student will work to arrange and describe the Martha Mahard papers at the Simmons University Archives. Mahard, a retired librarian of special collections and rare books as well as a former professor of practice at the Simmons College Graduate School of Library and Information Science (GSLIS), joined GSLIS in a teaching capacity in 1992 and served in this position until 2016. Much of the collection documents Mahard’s teaching career at GSLIS. The materials constitute 2.4 linear feet (2 record cartons). The student will be supervised by a member of the Simmons University Archives staff.
