HGARC has many legacy finding aids uploaded as PDF inventories or indexes within our ArchivesSpace Resource Records. We would welcome a Simmons student to help build out the workflow for migrating legacy data into the finding aids as component records to enhance description, while also reconciling and/or improving description levels by simultaneously re-processing collections. Students would gain experience working in ArchivesSpace; support the development and improvement of HGARC's Processing Manual; create processing plans, surveys, and completed finding aids; and process small (approximately 5 linear feet) analog collections.
