Arch Street Meeting House Preservation Trust

Arch Street Meeting House (ASMH) is a large & active Quaker meetinghouse in Old City, Philadelphia. The building sits on land that was deeded to the Quakers by William Penn in 1701, and the building itself is on the National Registry of Historic Places. The site is operated by the Arch Street Meeting House Preservation Trust (ASMHPT), which aims to preserve, operate, and interpret the meetinghouse building & grounds to increase the public understanding of the impact and continued relevance of Quakers and Quaker history. We hope to be the preeminent destination for experiencing and learning about Quakers' unique contributions to society throughout history.
