Project Details
The French Institute and other members of the Franco-American Collections Consortium are kicking off an NHPRC grant "Working Lives in Place" this summer. Beginning steps will include: digitizing collections from various contributors to the project, both from within the consortium, as well as other institutions; create metadata for the digitized items; ensure their safe transport and handling; potentially work on a few datasets that will be involved; as well as other tasks. This is a multi-year grant, so the first few months which the intern will be involved with will be crucial for the grant's longterm success.
