Work in a Federal Law Library

The law library at the Moakley Courthouse in Boston is one of four libraries within the First Circuit. The Boston library serves the judges, court staff, and public. The student will work in multiple departments within the law library, including the acquisitions department and the reference department. Expected tasks will vary based on the needs of the library, but will include checking-in new materials, shelving, helping with answering reference questions, summer projects, as well as helping out with any other needs of the library staff. This is a good opportunity for a student who wants to experience various aspects of a law library.
