Academic Librarianship at VTSU

This internship offers a comprehensive introduction to the role of an academic librarian at a multi-campus small university, covering instruction workshops, collection management, social media engagement, and reference services. The student will have the opportunity to assist in planning and conducting workshops, managing library materials, promoting resources via social media, and providing reference assistance. By the end of the internship, the student will have a well-rounded understanding of academic librarianship, preparing them for a successful career in the field.
