Museum Senior Archive Internship Spring25

The Spring 2025 HMANE Student Senior Archivist will assist in the organization of an archaeological archive. The HMANE houses the records of Theresa Goell, the archaeologist responsible for the excavation of several sites in Turkey. Previous museum efforts have provided minimal processing (preliminary sorting, boxing, and inventory) of this large and important archaeological record. The Spring 2025 Senior Archivists will work to restructure an older, less-explored portion of the collection. The archivist will impose a new order, dividing banker boxes as needed and re-housing materials in archival document boxes. Archivist will produce a box-level inventory at a minimum, and folder-level inventory where possible.
