Project Details
The intern will work with the Assistant Director for Archives & Special Collections to plan a physical exhibit (potential with digital components) in celebration of the 125th anniversary of the Southwick Recital Series, which originated at Emerson College in the year 1900 (for more information, please see here: https://emerson.edu/academics/academic-departments/communication-studies/southwick-recital-series). Tasks include researching the history of the Southwick Recitals, creating exhibit text, choosing items to exhibit, scanning fragile items, and assisting in the creation of the physical layout plan for the exhibit. There is also the possibility of creating/compiling digitized content to be used on a tablet or similar device in the exhibit.
