Preserve School History Helping with our Archives

As the first pilot school within Boston Public Schools, the founders created an archives to document the founding and history of the school. As teachers and administrators leave, they often will donate materials for the archives. Some are duplicates, some do not match our scope of the collection, and some are things we should add. For this project, the student will go through unaccessioned materials and determine if they are duplicates or not within collection scope. For materials that are determined to be within the scope of the collection, the student will accession and process, add to the finding aid and box list.
