Archives Processing Project

Student will assist with processing a small collection, including all physical and intellectual aspects of arrangement and description of archives. The student will do background research on the creator of the collection to write any biographical or administrative notes, and document any context around the creation of the records. They will do basic rehousing of records into archival, acid-free containers, labeling folders and boxes and preparing them for permanent storage. They will create a DACS-compliant finding aid, and encode it to put on the SCUA website for researchers to access.
