Baron-Rochefort Family Photographs Processing Project

The Franco-American Collection at the University of Southern Maine's Lewiston campus is dedicated to preserving and promoting the Franco-American and French Canadian history and culture in Maine. This collection of photographs, from the Baron-Rochefort families, and taken in the late 19th and early 20th centuries is unique in our collections, containing posed family portraits, as well as military militia portraits! The intern working on this project will process and rehouse the photos, create a finding aid, and input the finding aid information into our ArchivesSpace database.
