Project Details
Over the Spring 2025 term, the Simmons University Archives (SUA) seeks three field placement students from LIS 438 to complete traditional processing projects. All students will be managed by SUA staff–Kelsey Kolbet, University Archivist, and both Hannah Gershone and Zoe Johnson, Archives and Digital Initiatives Fellows.
One student will work independently to process the second accession of materials into the Beverly Sealey papers. This accession is composed of two large cartons of papers donated by Sealey to the School of Social Work (SSW), where she was a faculty member. The student assigned to this project will arrange and describe all materials to make them accessible for researchers both within and outside of the Simmons University community.
