Description
Invitation to a shower for a Luella Dudley to be held on May 23 at the home of Barbara Cherry. The invitation mentions horseback riding and a meeting that Stokes should attend later. A folded piece of paper inside the shower invitation is colored on the front with a bug called "The Orange Bug," and on the inside are instructions for what appears to be a hazing or initiation ritual. It is signed "The Black Beaker." Probably related to the science organization to which Stokes belonged.
