Nafiz Zaman Shuva is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Science & Library Management, University of Dhaka. Nafiz secured 1st class 1st position in both his BA (Honours) and Masters from the Department of Information Science & Library Management, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Nafiz completed a two years master degree entitled’ International Master in Digital Library Learning (DILL)’ under the European Commission’s Erasmus Mundus scheme. He has more than 20 research publications to his credit. Nafiz is the founder president of the Bangladesh Association of Young Researchers (BAYR). He is one of the ASIS&T SIG-III international paper contest 2004 winners.\u00a0 He is the Managing Editor of Journal of the Bangladesh Association of Young Researchers (JBAYR). His research interest includes information behaviour, critical information needs, the role of information in society, information needs of the marginalized populations, e-government and its related aspects. Rhiannon’s most recent work asks how libraries and museums should preserve digital heritage (like video games and computational art) and involves working with researchers and preservation institutions around the world. While doing that, she has taught and designed curricula that help students engage with tricky questions and get hands-on experience with preservation systems, digital forensics tools, and metadata creation. She is interested in opportunities in the areas of digital stewardship including preservation, curation, and metadata.
