Are you interested in\u00a0volunteering with a Boston-area archive, library or LIS-related community organization<\/b>\u00a0over\u00a0spring break<\/b>\u00a0(March 2nd-9th)?<\/p>\n

You could meet people, gain valuable experience, learn\/share about Boston-area issues and organizations,\u00a0contribute your skills to give back to the communities around us,\u00a0<\/span>explore, and eat a\u00a0free lunch<\/b>\u00a0every day you participate \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In light of recent\u00a0events at ALA Midwinter<\/a>, which are unfortunately not isolated incidents, I think it’s clearer than ever that our field has a lot of work to do in dismantling systemic racism and other intersecting systems. This could be one way to learn, contribute and dialogue together.

Schedule<\/b>: TBD, either Saturdays 10am-4pm or weekdays 9am-4pm or 6pm-9pm. You can join for one or two 3-hour shifts on as many days as you can\/like!<\/p>\n
