This year’s 2020 ASIS&T Annual Meeting was held from October 22 to November 1. The meeting was a little different this year as everything was done virtually, but that didn’t stop the Simmons SLIS community from engaging actively. Faulty and students participated in various presentations, panels, and other conference events.<\/p>\n

Some highlights from the meeting:<\/p>\n

Ph.D. student\u00a0Wenqing Lu and Professor Naresh Agarwal won the Best Information Behavior Conference Paper Award for their paper titled “Response to Non-Response: How People React When Their Smartphone Messages and Calls are Ignored.”<\/p>\n
