Come learn about the metadata study abroad course being taught by Prof. Jeffrey Pomerantz at one of these information sessions.<\/p>\n<p>The two-week course, <strong>LIS 445<\/strong>, will cover the theory and practice of metadata as it is applied to digital collections. It will provide students with a comprehensive overview of current metadata standards in the library, archives, and visual resources communities and offer them an opportunity to get hands-on practice using selected standards.
