My company is looking for a research associate \/ data storyteller with a few years’ experience. I couldn’t recommend the position enough. The data is messy but the work is motivating and exciting; the company is really working toward being more data-driven, and the work has a direct impact on bringing in revenue for the company. TechTarget is seeking a Research Associate to help drive the overall success of TechTarget\u2019s Data Center, Virtualization, Storage and Modern End User Computing media groups. In this high-profile role, the Research Associate will work closely with the media group on in-depth survey and data analysis projects in support of TechTarget\u2019s sales intelligence-focused range of products and services.<\/p>\n
Essential Job Functions:<\/p>\n
Support media groups by analyzing user survey and activity data, creating email copy, PowerPoint visuals and other sales collateral to help drive sales engagements;
\nIdentify key vendors by technology focus area to aid sales in creating a targeted plan of attack to penetrate key accounts Use survey and activity data to help sales overcome market objections and highlight value of products and services
\nIdentify new market opportunities and business growth areas as needed; Monitor survey performance data and work with marketing teams to create\/execute plan to resolve issues as they arise;
\nWork with internal teams to create customized sales collateral, highlight sales wins and evangelize product.<\/p>\n
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:<\/p>\n
2-3 years\u2019 experience in a research or data-driven environment
\nBachelor\u2019s degree required;
\nProven evidence of strong analytical skill and ability to interpret data a must
\nIn-depth knowledge of SurveyGizmo\/Survey Monkey\/DataCracker
\nStrong communication skills and ability to present data preferred
\nAbility to multi-task and excellent time management skills
\nProactive and creative self-starter with a strong ability to work independently
\nExperience\/knowledge of tech media industry a plus<\/p>\n
