Welcome to Yonsei University – 2013

Three days ago, 4 GSLIS students, 1 URI student, and 2 GSLIS faculty members arrived in Seoul, South Korea to complete a two-week intensive summer study program at Yonsei University. For the past five years, GSLIS has been sending students and faculty members to study various LIS/Archives topics at Yonsei University, and Yonsei University has been sending their students to GSLIS for a year to participate in a dual-degree program.… Read the rest

On Tuesday evening, our new friend Changwan took us into Sinchon for a wonderful dinner of Korean-style lettuce wraps and makgeolli so we could watch the Olympics together. We watched some Judo matches and got to see how the Koreans supported their country in the games.… Read the rest

Happy Friday from Seoul where I am writing to you from the future! We are so happy it is the weekend and are ready to make the most of our only/last weekend in Seoul.
