All of the projects are designed to be finished within a fifty minute class period; however, they can be easily adjusted to fit any time period.

The objectives for each project are taken directly from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's Curriculum Frameworks for History and Social Science, as of November 2010, for the suggested grade level. The projects can be modified for other grade levels as needed.

Several of the projects involve the Map created for the digital scrapbook, and it may be helpful for the instructor to explore the map before beginning the project. The projects rely on the students using the digital scrapbook. A laptop connected to a projector should be used so all students can view the screen.
