Biography
Bettie Goodrich was born in Minnesota, grew up in Vermont, went to college in Boston and attended graduate school in New Haven. She raised a family in California, Chicago, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee.
Her career as a nurse included working as an Instructor of Community Health Nursing in the Vanderbilt School of Nursing. She was an active member of the Episcopal Church, and had a life-long interest in music.
